Isn't three hours enough time for smoking in a Bradley?

Some seem to say half the total time should be with smoke and others say three hours has pretty much maxed out the amount of smoke a piece of meat can 'absorb.' I found that, with a three hour smoke time, I wouldn't have wanted it any smokier. I was still tasting the meat. Opinions?

    Three, maybe four hours is the max smoke I usually put on meat in Bradley. Other smokers have different properties.

      Thanks. Aren't you going to be glad when I get better educated? Next on the agenda is probably ribs.
