Galveston Shrimp/Seafood Truck

Dallas folks going to Galveston in December!
Many years ago, I spent several weekends on the island. Every Sunday morning on the way back home I stopped to fill the ice chest with shrimp and other fresh goodies.
The truck(s) were in a strip center in a "regular" (non-touristy) part of town. The products were just in from the morning and usually sold out pretty quickly.
Can anyone from the area point me to a similar vendor?
Thanks in advance!

Not trucks, but harbor side vendors with boats that unload on one side and the seafood goes directly to ice on the other side for patrons to buy. These are located at Pier 19. We like Katie's but there are several there. They will fillet the fish for you too.

Wow! Katie's looks like a must stop. I can peel & de-vein shrimp, but give me a pretty fish to fillet and it'll look pre-chewed.
      Thanks for the info!

I agree, if I'm buying shrimp in Galveston that is the place. Samford and Son is right next door, buy what is freshest. I usually catch my own fish, but have been on the PUP list the two years or so and will be into next year. Alaskan Cod at HEB satisfies my fried fish fix.

I usually get fresh seafood at Sampson and son's. http://sampsonseafood.com/Home_Page.html

I said Samford, close but no cigar.
