Is feeding a breadmaker really making bread?

      Of course it is. Taking raw ingredients and using whatever you have to make bread of them, is baking bread. As for "Stuart Heritage," he's just a snob.

      (Not that I use a bread machine - I don't, just a stand mixer - but I don't mock those who do.)

        You're being to hard on him. *At least* he owns a bread maker and admits to operating it. I don't think my Singapore Prime Minister even *butters* his own piece of toast.

          No such thing as being too hard on a Tory. Typical Tory though - doesnt want to get his hands dirty kneading the dough.

          Or should that really be "needing the dough"
