When can i plant blueberries in NC?
Late winter (Feb-Mar) as soon as the soil can be worked is best for bare-root plants; Fall (Nov-Dec) planting has been successful on sandy soil in the southeastern Coastal Plain with bare-root plants and in the other areas with potted plants.*
If you plant a rabbit-eye blueberry then you need two varieties. Highbush types do fine with just one variety.
