Eating in Zaragoza
Had a few great meals at Zaragoza on trip in September '13. Top choice was Palomeque (Augustin Palomeque,11). Gorgeous tapas bar for lunch where every dish was excellent -- and you can see what there is to choose from, like a sushi bar. The price: 17 euros for 3 dishes, dessert, a glass of wine and a coffee. Went back for dinner which did not disappoint. Small and lively atmosphere with helpful and friendly staff. Was my top pick. La Reserva was okay (and the best of the lot on that busy strip). Also ate at the fancy La Prensa which was good for high-end experience--about 60 euros for multi-course dinner, wine not included. It was similar to Lua in Madrid, but Lua was better. Finally, I agree with others here who recommend La Fama for Churros and chocolate: not to be missed.
