apple cider donuts

I realize there is an earlier post asking about ACD but I thought I'd try again as that was pre-donut craze. I've had some from a vendor at the Liberty Village farmer's market which were dripping with oil - inedible. I realize this is not New England but with all of the apple orchards in the area, someone has to be making seasonal ACD in Toronto right?

I've seen them at the Nathan Phillips Square farmer's market at the apple vendor's stand. Can't remember the name but they only sell apples, no other fruit or veg. I haven't tried them but they definitely sell them.

Those ones are okay. Very soft, still good the next day, not dripping with oil but yeah, I guess a little oily. I have no basis of comparison though.
