I love Monty Python with a ridiculous amount of passion. Yay!
(Favorite part is when Cleese tells Palin he's going to have to shoot him and Palin says "Righto")

I've heard this countless times, to the point I can almost recite along and I still have to stop what I'm doing when I hear it because I'm laughing so hard. I'll file this link. Thanks!

As a teen, "what a senseless waste of human life" was pretty much my catchphrase.

A list of cheeses normally sold in Mr. Wensleydale's Cheese shop (all 43 mentioned in the sketch).

Great links, Melanie -- "the cat's eaten it" is my usual excuse when something delicious disappears from the fridge without a reasonable explanation -- though we don't have a cat :-).

Two houses ago, we painted a kitchen mural: "Cheesy Comestibles". Never found out whether the buyers kept it or not.

Mousebender: Well let's keep it simple, how about Cheddar?
Wensleydale: Well, I'm afraid we don't get much call for it around these parts.
Mousebender: No call for it? It's the single most popular cheese in the world!
That's my favorite part, and I'll bet I've heard it a little thousand times and it still cracks me up. BTW, when Spamalot arrived in NYC, I got a ticket to one of the early shows, with the original Broadway cast. I laughed so hard that my face hurt for DAYS, I'm not kidding.

I want to taste all the real cheeses mentioned in the sketch. I think igourmet carries them all.
