Dinner for six in Burlington/Bedford

garnetmemory Sep 26, 2013 01:39 PM

Some friends are coming in from out of town for the weekend. They are staying in Bedford. I am looking for recommendations for dinner for six on Friday night nearby. I'd like delicious food and great service and also to avoid the touristy-ness of Legal Seafood and the price of L'Andana.

Any Chowhound suggestions?

Dalya's in Bedford isn't bad. Quiet little mediterranean kind of place. Ginger, if you like Sushi/Japanese stuff, is a nice venue since its rebuilding. I've heard rumors that Summer/Winter in the Burlington Marriott is no longer owned by the Perkins Cove guys, so i have no idea what it's like now.

I would suggest A Tavola on Church St in Winchester. It's not far from Bedford or Burlington. Small upscale Italian with very nice food and service.

        Masa, in Woburn, might work.

If you like Korean BBQ, New Jang Su in Burlington is fun. Their BBQ tables seat six.

It's not fancy, but we've always had nice group meals at Luigi's in Bedford. The prices are circa 1972.
