Best Italian for foodies w/ 8 month old baby

We're heading to Montreal and Quebec from San Francisco for a week and want to fit in one Italian meal in Montreal. Based on other discussions it looks like Da Emma, Lucca, Venti and Hostaria are mentioned pretty frequently. Can anyone advise which one is the most baby friendly? We would only need a high chair and he's pretty quiet.

  1. I can't really comment on the places you suggested, as I haven't been out much since our munchkin came along, but thought I would mention a new Italian place that is getting a lot of buzz: impasto. Haven't had a chance to try it myself, but this cute review makes it sound kid-friendly:

I'd think so, given that Stefano Faita has young children and has written a cookbook on family cooking. But you'd have to ask abouta high chair. I really don't think baby babbling would bother anyone there - part of the "famiglia" experience.

Thanks for the suggestion! Sounds perfect : )

      2. You should be ok at Venti. Just don't go too late.
