Can I replace sour cream with Greek yogurt in muffin recipe?

Calling all bakers... can I use Greek yogurt instead of sour cream in a muffin recipe? It's a peach muffin recipe that uses baking powder as the raising agent. I was wondering if the yogurt would mess up the acid ratio or if would work similarly to sour cream.

    1. I just replaced sour cream with Greek yogurt in the infamous "7-Up Biscuits" with no change noted in the taste or texture. I do that sub with all sorts of things.

      1. Yes, I've done this with several recipes that for sour cream, tastes better and much more moist.

        1. Another vote from me; I do regularly replace sour cream with all manner of plain/unsweetened yogurt types as I almost never have sour cream on hand.
