Down and dirty basic lobster dinners Kennebunkport/Portland. Usually do Nunnan's in Cape Porpoise - Not looking for lobster rolls per/se. Thanks.

Three Son's in Portland is gone. The pier was unsafe and they were evicted last year.

Thanks for the tip. What about Waterman's/Fisherman's Grill

Waterman's is a bit outside my territory but Fisherman's Grill is pretty basic and very good. I usually do the fried clams which are great and people rave about the lobster rolls and other fried offerings. Zero ambiance but that's part of the appeal.

Thanks, Anything on Port Lobster in Kennebunkport? As I wrote earlier, we love the no frills honesty of Nunnan's in Cape Porpoise. We stay in Kennebunkport and usually do the Beaches and Mid-Coast.

Cape Pier Chowder House in Cape Porpoise. Instead of following Rt. 9 left at the intersection where Cape Porpoise Kitchen is (assuming you're driving in on 9 from Kport) , keep going straight (it's called Pier Rd.) to the end. No frills, eat outdoors on the deck or inside, good food.
