have an important client in town Monday evening, staying at the Hyatt, thinking of either Pearl or Koral? need to be withing walking distance, and will probably be raining.

Ruth's Chris is right across the street in Bell Square. A $5 cab ride away is John Howie Steak. Walkable if it's not raining.

Steak is out, seafood, interesting PNW food, they are from California

Seastar probably meets your criteria best.

          Pearl looks interesting for seafood?

I haven't been overly impressed with my meals there, but have only been there once for dinner - the other times have been for lunch. I think Seastar has a better reputation.

If you have to pick between Pearl and Seastar, I'd go with Seastar.

McCormick's will probably have better seafood (more variety and quality), but it's a tad less upscale than Seastar.

I've also had some pretty decent seafood dishes at John Howie's.
