Billy Tse's Revere
Spur of the moment stopped in for a quick lunch. Ordered "Young Lamb with Ginger". Came out a gloppy mess looking like beef chow yoke from long ago sans mushrooms. Server literally took my order and brought the plate in a minute.In a hurry I ate it but asked if all luncheon specials were pre-cooked. The server was upset insisting it was cooked to order. If that was the case it would have been hot. It was tepid. The manager spoke with me to say "next time you should send it back". He was right I should have sent it back. Odd he would think there would be a next time.
My question is has anyone else eaten here and been disappointed or was my lunch an exception? Feedback, please.
It used to be "OK" a few years back but all I can say now is "Billy, Tsell" since he has the Boston location the Revere place is more geared to drinks and bikers who think Chow Yoke is all good. Clearly a severe Revere downhill slide. Used to love their sino/american crispy orange beef and moo shi but the beef last time was putrid and the moo shi way moooshy. Hit up Shirley Ave, a lock up and over for some good local Viet and SE Asian food. Billy is a nice guy but his food not so nice.
