Chinese Burritos & Noodle House

Chandavkl Sep 18, 2013 04:57 PM

Finally able to follow up on TonyC's Eater LA blurb on this new restaurant in Walnut which replaces Peking Deli. Naturally the "burritos" are the Shandong style rolls that we've learned to love from places such as 101 Noodle Express. However Chinese Burritos has taken the concept further with things like String Bean, Kung Pao Chicken and Kung Pao Shrimp rolls. A few Shanxi style noodle dishes highlight noodle choices with your choice of knife cut or hand pulled noodles. Also dumplings, pancakes, etc. I wouldn't call this a destination restaurant, but worth going to if it's convenient to you. Address is 1247 N. Grand Ave., right across from Mount SAC. I thought this might be a student hangout, but it was the place a few doors down (something Chinese Kitchen) that was full of (non-Asian) students.
