The results of our Restaurant Week trip! [Charleston]
Thanks for the suggestions here. This is the finally tally for dinners. There were 4 of us dining for all dinner except at FIG. Some had the prix fixe dinners, others ordered a la carte.

We were in a small dining room, liked it as it was quiet. We found the food good and it was a good start. Turned out to be least favorite. Fatty pork chop, she crab soup was thin and lacked depth. Shrimp and grits were good, short rib dry, jambalaya was goo. Capresse Salad was miniscule.
Carter's Kitchen - loved the little community where it's located.
RANK #4 of 5, but only because 1, 2 and 3 were so good!
Appetizers - really good: Crabcakes; Crusted Scallops; Fall Veggies salad - not so much. Plain, lack flavor or pizazz.
#1 - Pan Roasted Local Stone Bass -
Primavera Quinoa Cake, Sautéed Collard Greens
Sweet Potato-Brown Butter Vinaigrette
This was the only disappointing dish of the week. One piece of fish was overdone and other was underdone.
#2 - Pepper-Bacon Stuffed Carolina Quail -
Paparadelle Pasta, Wild Mushrooms, Lemon and Ricotta
The bacon was a bit overpowering but the pasta was divine.
#3 GRILLED FILET OF BEEF -
crispy fingerling potatoes, red pepper bearnaise, asparagus, mushroom jus
The meat lover loved this
THE Coconut Cake - 2 of us had it, 1 wished he did! It was a bit denser than I thought it would be, the frosting just right and overall - excellent!

#1 Buttermilk Fried Chicken Breast - delish crispy seasoned just right!
#2 SWEET CHILI RUBBED AHI TUNA
habanero hummus & pepperjack spring rolls, roasted mango salsa, Creole rémoulade - big hit with the meat eater!
#3 SAUTÉED MUSSELS & LITTLENECK CLAMS -
spinach, potatoes, bacon, creamed leeks,
sourdough toast points - crustacean lover happy!
#4 GINGER BBQ SALMON -
roasted butternut squash, crispy Brussels sprouts,
pickled cherry peppers, citrus beurre blanc - [me] amazing salmon, perhaps the best I have ever had.

#1 - App = Housemade Ricotta Gnudi -
BBQ Rabbit, Celery, Fried Leek Rings, Pickled Carrots
Main - Pan Roasted Duck Leg, Garbanzo Beans, Grilled Onions, Kale, Apricots, Duck Andouille = Happy camper!
#2 [me] App = Grilled Peach Salad -
Pork Belly, Oyster Mushrooms, Arugula, Peach Vinaigrette - needed a bit more pork belly, 2 tiny morsels. Main - Sautéed Vermillion Snapper, Lentils, Malabar Spinach, Cherry Tomatoes, Preserved Meyer Lemon, Smoked Eggplant Puree = OH my! wonderfully crisp snapper, the hints of flavors at ever forkful.
Shared BONE MARROW BREAD PUDDING! It was a bit like French toast, really amazing. We had heard about it from every waitperson we talked to while discussing where we were eating during the week!

#1 - MUSTARD CRUSTED JUMBO FLOUNDER sautéed rapini, cipollini onion and piquillo pepper picatta - WOW!
#2 - ZUCCHINI WRAPPED SCAMP GROUPER scallop mousse, vegetables provençal, tomato coulis [the coulis was to die for!!]
Dessert - wonderful, light and airy lemon pudding and fresh figs - of course!!
Had a nice lunch at SNOB - great Ruebens; amazing corned beef and their hand cut BBQ chips are a bit hot, a bit sweet and wonderful.
