Who makes a top-notch sazerac in Chicago (bar or restaurant)? Request from a guest coming to town - I have a few ideas but could do with more.
Au Cheval, Bavette's, or Sepia all do a great Sazerac.
I know a fellow whose go to drink is the sazerac and he claims Sable is pretty much the gold standard.

I enjoy the sazerac, the food, the upstairs space, and well, everything about Maude's Liquor Bar. Sister spots Gilt Bar and Bavette's Bar & Bouef also have versions on their online menu, although I have no experience at those venues.
Not really my drink, though I very much enjoy a great whiskey drink, so here's where I've imbibed lately in River North. Each one has provided me with a very tasty beverage.
