Need upscale recommendation in St. James area of London

I will be hosting a business dinner next week in the St. James area of London for 10 people and I am looking for an upscale restaurant with a private room. I am not looking for a particular cuisine - probably mainstream/international. Any help would be appreciated.

    Greens is another restaurant in the St. James area worth a look. Their website says they do offer private dining. However, I have never been there.

      I've been going there since the mid 1980s when Beth Coventry and Amanda Matthews were in the kitchen.

      It's a very nice spot, and the basement private room is fine, but it's more English family than upscale.

        I have had a very good meal in Seven Park Place, just off St James St. itself- as far as I know they have private dining facilities in the hotel they are based in. Maybe have a closer look:
