We have a reservation at Gwynett Street on Saturday in a couple of weeks' time as part of our trip to NYC. Is it worth holding or should we try somewhere else in Williamsburg/Brooklyn?
i've had 2 great meals there, why the hesitation?
Certainly worth holding. Try the tasting menu with wine pairings, for a real treat. If you have a few nights in that part of Brooklyn, try Aska, Chez Jose (a pop-up, of sorts) and Paulie Gee's, in nearby Greenpoint, for the best pizza in Brooklyn.
I haven't been back since the the changes in the kitchen. Has the food continued to be as great as before?
