Recommendations for Bridal shower in Montgomery County, PA

Help! I am making a bridal shower for my cousin. I never made a shower before and I am nervous about finding the right place. We will be having about 50 women and I am looking for byob or intimate restaurant with a private room in the Plymouth Meeting area (20 mile radius). Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

I went to a lovely one at Arpeggio's in Spring House.
The Spring House tavern while not as contemporary, has a nice private room

I do not believe Arpeggio's back room will accommodate 50 people.

We had the entire place to ourselves. I believe it was at 2:00 on a Saturday.

        Joseph Ambler Inn could accommodate.

        William Penn Inn could accommodate.

Forest and Main brewpub upstairs could easily accommodate though they tend not to open before 4pm.

        None of these are byo.

One other place in the area is the Broad Axe tavern on skippack pike, ambler. Again not byo but has a great upstairs room that would be perfect for your party. And it has an elevator that will accommodate people that do not do stairs well (used it with a friend who was a new amputee last Thanksgiving.. .)

Have you ever considered renting a private room in a Country Club like Plymouth CC or North Hills, Lulu, Meadowlands or Cedarbrook?

You could try Fayette St. Grille in Conshohocken. www.fayettestreetgrille.com They book the entire restaurant for private affairs on weekend afternoons. Great food and BYOB.

I always think about the carriage house at Fonthill Castle in Doylestown when I see these posts. Saw a lovely wedding reception in the room above the carriage house there once.

              From the Boot, or Arpeggio!

FTB has an interesting space (grotto like) which would work for you. As noted they are not now (were) a BYOB, perhaps if asked they would make consider it for a 50 person group. Have been to Arpeggio's frequently and must be missing the space for a 50 person affair, but could be wrong.
