U2Us? Why not?

You have my email address, I'm under a moniker, I can choose to accept or decline unsolicited requests, and most correspondence in any case would be by mutual consent.

Is this feature present now and I missed it somehow?

    1. Not present. A good idea, though, but in the form of a message system that does not make email addresses public.

Yes, that's exactly a U2U - where I can send to your private mailbox via a site and you can respond without revealing our URLs.

Oh. Looks like I misinterpreted "You have my email address" as "you the reader" rather than "you the powers that be."
Anyway, a good idea, and one that other members have talked about in the past.

May I ask why revealing our URL's is a concern? I have several email addresses. One of them under an anonymous screen name is used only for CH. Why would revealing that URL, (should I choose to do so) be a potential problem or issue?

Ditto, I generally set up a random email account for many of my social networking sites. Spam away!
