Caterer for Holiday Party

The restaurant we booked TWO MONTHS AGO backed out on us and all the places we like are now booked. So, it falls to us having it at our house (close to the Arboretum, if that makes a difference). It'll hopefully be the second Saturday in December with 20-25 adults (no kids).

I've given serious thought to doing it myself and doing either lasagna or fajitas (both no stress at all), but my partner is stressed about leaving a mess till morning.

If I'm going caterer, though, I'd want something nicer. You know, appetizers, a nice dinner and dessert WITH set up and clean up after. Party should start around 6 and end around 9:30 or 10.

Agreed! But our partner, the person who has the house big enough, is afraid of the clean up. Crazy, huh?

Awww too bad it could be so much fun for you.. you could always hire a clean up crew for the day after and sleep in. My parents have done that. But In all honesty there really is very little mess with 20 -25 people... you two should come to our bigfoot party next weekend and partner can see how easy it is. :)

      1. If you stick with fajitas, Lupe Tortilla has catering down to perfection. On time delivery, set up, delicious food, no fuss. I highly recmend them. Arbor location too.
