Great San Francisco Food Tour

kpzoo Sep 12, 2013 11:08 AM

Hi! I'm a Montreal hound coming to SF in a few weeks. Any suggestions for an excellent or unique food tour in the SF area, for a group? (The group size can be flexible.)

Thanks for any suggestions!

    Hi kpzoo,
Here are a few sites that offer walking tours in specific neighborhoods of SF. I recommend the Mission tour over the others - the Mission is the hot place to be now, and Chinatown, North Beach are very touristy. They do have long and interesting food histories, but in terms of hot places to be, the Mission is it. Happy to provide more info if you need it!

Thanks so much for those suggestions, and for the tip about the Mission. :-)

Just to clarify, I'm mainly looking for an organized prefab food tour, like http://gourmetwalks.com - thanks again!
