Hiyashi chuka and/or somen outside of summer time

I'm going to Japan in October (going to Tokyo, Nikko, Takayama, Shirakawa-go, Kyoto, Osaka, Kinosaki, Nara, Hikone and Hakone) and would really like to have some hiyashi chuka and/or somen when I'm in Japan. I know that those are both summer foods, but was wondering if anyone knew of any good restaurants in any of the places that I'm visiting that serve them outside the summer months. Thanks!

The hiyashi chuka they serve is said to be an original.

    1. I know there's a shop on the ground floor of Tokyo Midtown that does a zaru udon. I know because I mistakenly ordered it once during a November.

My girlfriend, the expert, also suggests Tsurutontan which has several locations around Tokyo.

Thanks! Just to be sure, does Tsurutontan do hiyashi chuka or somen? When I googled it, it just seemed to be a udon specialty restaurant.

It is an udon specialty restaurant. He's just mentioning that they do a cold udon dish in case you were interested in chilled noodle dishes in general and not just hiyashi chuka/somen.
