I guess it had to happen. Look for them in your egg McMuffins soon.

I'm not sure the economy is going to be able to handle the influx of chickens that are now going to be unemployed. Some people just don't think through the full ramifications of their actions.

There are currently more people in the US on food stamps than are working at a full time job. So what's another few million hens right? LOL

        A little fact checking:

112 million Americans in full-time jobs.

47 million on food stamps. But that includes children and seniors, so if you're comparing like-to-like, then 21 million working-age Americans are on food stamps. Many of those are underemployed because their employers would prefer to keep them part-time and not give them benefits.

        Carry on.

That's fine, but do you have the statistics for chickens? Let's not get off topic by blurring this with facts.

Note I said "people". We must factor in the ages of the chickens too. Some have just started laying while others are approaching the Great Poultry Processor In The Sky'.
            Moving on.

There is a company called BeyondMeat which sells chicken strips made from plants, which Bill Gates has also highlighted. I think they taste much better than other faux meat products.
