We are going to be in Manahattan for one dinner. Out of these three restaurants which would you choose:
A G Kitchen
Hudson Clearwater
The Dutch

I am also open to other suggestions.

Very curious list. As there's nothing common about the three, it's difficult to know how you arrived at your selection and more difficult to suggest another place.

    I'd go with The Dutch.

I'm with Coast. I can't figure out how you arrived at these three to decide on your single dinner. If I were coming to NYC for a short trip, I could see going to The Dutch, but I had never even heard of the other two until your post. Before we can make alternative suggestions, can you tell us what you find appealing about these 3?

A friend told us about Dutch and Hudson Clearwater. She also mentioned Market Table. Market Table reviews were not great and the menu was not that interesting so I eliminated it. I think I saw AG Kitchen on TV.

        When are you coming?

Are you only interested in American cuisine?

What's your budget per person before tax, tip, and drinks/wine?

Any preferred neighborhoods? Downtown/south of 14th?

We will be coming in at the Port Authority. As we have not seen the most northern part of the High Line we will walk it to the southern end. So dinner can be in the Village or SoHo.

What is the date you are looking for dinner? Some restaurants require reservations in advance.

The Dutch would be a fine choice.

                  Other possibilities:

                  Bistro La Promenade
                  Colicchio and Sons
                  Scarpetta
                  Babbo
                  Perla
                  Louro
                  Minetta Tavern
                  The Breslin
                  Empellon Taqueria
                  The NoMad
                  Yerba Buena Perry

Good list but not all these are in the West Village/Soho. They would have to backtrack from the south end of the High Line to get to the Breslin and NoMad.

Probably will be tough getting into Babbo will less than three weeks notice.
