Hi --

I'm looking for recommendations in Providence for two foodies. But, we'll also have with us one teenager who pretty much only eats basic chicken and pasta. Emphasis on basic.

We're staying at the Biltmore.

Thanks in advance!

Baccaro, which was just reviewed in detail on the board, might work. They have a few grilled pizzas on the menu. Surely the teenager eats pizza.

Chez Pascal, a board favorite (and mine too), usually has a roasted chicken on the menu.

Siena on Federal Hill also has a few grilled pizza as well as some straight forward pasta and chicken dishes.

If you ditch the picky one and let him/her get room service, you should try North. http://www.foodbynorth.com/. You'll need a car/cab. Nothing basic going on.

birch is the best restaurant in Providence, it serves serious food. I would recommend ordering room service for your teenager and having the two of you eat at birch (it is just down the street from the Biltmore).
