Any bakeries in LA make/sell good Columbian Arepas or the masa?

Throwing a party and making all sorts of food and we'd love to serve some of those fantastic Cheesy arepas!! Problem is we don't have time to make 50 or 60 of those little suckers. Hoping maybe someone out there sells everything already mixed and we can shape and grill at home or already made and we just grill em:)
Thanks for any help.

  1. There is a Venezuelan place in Santa Ana that does arepas.

You don't say where you're located. I've heard of other places, but don't recall any names offhand. They used to make them at a now closed place called Savors on Venice Blvd. a little ways west of La Cienega. I believe the cross street was Cattaragus.
The owner also owned the furniture place right on the corner. He said he learned to make arepas when he lived in Venezuela. Don't think he's in the food biz any longer, but he might know where to get the supplies.

    1. Cafe Bolivar on Ocean Park in Santa Monica has a line up of arepas on their menu. While these were my one and only experience with arepas, I thought they tasted fine.
