The Best Meal we had in May 2013 in all of Taormina was at LaBocciola. You take the local city bus one stop up to
Castelmola. It is so beautiful. you feel on top of the world. A tiny town but everyone will know where the restaurant and Carlo will be there to greet you. The freshest most beautifully prepared fish and if you're lucky his mama's homemade cannoloni. I highly recommended this. Check out reviews on trip advisor. Enjoy.

in ortygia, i eat at trattoria mariano-- funky little place-- and last time for something fancier and fun-- we ate at the new place in the main square-- sorry can't remember the name-- at the end of the piazza past the cathedral on the right--- plexiglass chairs-- looks very hip.

we also love don cammillo- he travels and teaches in USA so fun to get him to come out and explain the dishes!

the restaurant in the agila hotel was really nice- not sure if they open to the public-

drinks on the roof of the des etrangers hotel for sure!!!!
