Good Italian Place That Lets Me In With My Yankees Jersey

Nunzio Sep 7, 2013 05:33 AM

Going to Yankees game today and want to have a nice Italian dinner afterwards in Manhattan. Looking for a casual place with really good food.

Thanks!!

Otto or Eataly (except for Manzo).

Agreed on the quality and casual points, although Open Table shows no availability at Otto from 5:30 to 9:15. (Two weeks ago we were able to book via OT at 7:00PM on a Saturday night.)

Maybe those tables are already reserved or maybe the restaurant has removed them from OT's system.

To decode all of that, if you go to Otto be sure to have a backup plan.

We usually eat in the front area/bar.

If he's smart he's already ditched the Yankees game and used the extra time to go up to Arthur Ave. The Yanks are getting beat 12-3. By the Sox. Ugh.

We usually hit Arthur Ave before the game. Otherwise, Yankee Jerseys will be welcome in most restaurants that do not require formal dress.
          Go Yankees!!!!
