St. Paul Restaurant before Concert

Looking to find a fun/nice restaurant for ourselves, twenty yr old daughter and her boyfriend before the Blake Shelton concert next week. Any recommendations?

    1. Right down W. 7th: Eagle St. Grill, The Liffey, Cosetta's, Burger Moe's, Downtowner Woodfire Grill, Patrick McGoverns. If the weather is nice, the patio at The Liffey would be my choice.

I'd strongly urge against the Eagle Street Grill. I think it may be one of the worst restaurants in the Twin Cities. It's great to grab a beer at before or after an event as it is right across the X. But the food is absolutely atrocious and I actually celebrated when their deal to buy the Lexington fell thru.

I'd suggest patios at Liffey or McGoverns. If the weather isn't up for it, I'd eat at the Downtowner or Pazzaluna.

BTW: Kincaid's has a great late night HH after the show. Most apps are half priced with beers for $3 and wine for $4. Something to keep in mind if you want to keep the party going.

Agreed on Eagle Street Grill. Their food is tragic, and it's not an adjective I use lightly.

      2. Pazzaluna is close. SeƱor Wong's is about five blocks away.

        1. Downtowner Woodfire Grill. You can make a reservation which is a huge plus.

          1. There's always Mickey's. Haute cuisine it's not, but it's iconic and they do a pretty good job with many of the dishes. The biggest issue would be whether they had enough seats. Might be a good Plan A with a ready Plan B.
