Garlic Sausage ideas?
Digging in my freezer tonight I found two packages of house made garlic sausages from a local german place, Karl's Kitchen. They appear to a pork/beef blend with various seasonings including garlic. Eyeballing they look like great grilling sausages but I thought I might try some other ideas. My first gut was to slice and cook in some red sauce to use over a hearty pasta or possibly a lasagna,
Any other ideas?
Are these the German Style form Karl's in Peabody MA?
If so I think they are very much like Knockwursts, probably not a good match for Italian applications.
Braised with Sauerkraut, Sliced in Potato or Lentil Soup , Grilled on a Roll, in Potato Salad, as part of a Choucroute Garnie, or Wurstsalat.
