What do you recommend? They sent me a coupon for a free meal. What should I order?

i've been dragged to their westchester branch many times.

      to answer your question:
what would you order at denny's?
      order that at truxton's.
      stay AWAY from fish.

Guess I will order $20 worth of ice cream and call it a day.

Burgers and salads tend to be reliable. It's not bad and the location up in Westchester has a nice interior with comfortable booths and an active bar. I also like it for a reasonable noise level where you can hear your dining companion and have a conversation. We've always had good service with friendly and efficient waiter and waitresses.

I'm sure at some point we will get over and try the SM location. At that point I'll come back and post my impressions here about that visit.

Went to the SM location a few weeks ago and was pretty skeptical going in but was pleasantly surprised. Service was good (perhaps a little overattentive but generally nice) and the food was solid. I had the fish and chips, which was tasty but not earth-shattering--similar to Malibu Seafood. Other people had the Ahi Tuna appetizer and liked it.

I'm happy to hear they have some chow worthy items.

I heard something about a cask wine program, which means no bottles or brand names.
