The Republic of Red Sauce!

whs Aug 30, 2013 06:37 PM

Apparently, we have loved Republic to the point where there is a 45 minute wait to get a table on Friday night. So we decided to venture into unknown territory and went to Red Sauce. This is a really difficult location for a restaurant - it killed Commercial Street Fishery, and a short lived Mexican place. What was surprising was HOW GOOD the food was. My fettuccine with clams in shell was garlicky and excellent. Dining partner's Pasta Primavera was a nice balance of pesto and veggies. The service was prompt and friendly. The place looks great. Try it - there are very few decent Italian places in Manchester and this hit the spot.

I thought the Red Sauce chain was gone. Was this Manchester NH?
