We're flying out this afternoon after two great weeks visiting our little grandson and working in some great meals thanks to y'all. The new places were

Walrus & Carpenter
Din Tai Fung
Rainin' Ribs

Except for the last one, these were all recs from you kids and we remain grateful. We never hit as many as we think we will but The Kid is awfully adorable :) Thanks so much.

OMG, that's the best EVER. Because of their pork I'm now in the market for a smoker. Thanks a mil for that.

I like a lot of their offerings too! Brisket is yum! Hush puppies are too, even like their greens and their ribs are to die for! View is yowser!

Even the fried okra was passable...for a non-Southern place :) Our kids live a bit south of there and they just happened upon it a while back and they really liked it also. And the portion was HUGE.
