southern style BBQ Ribs. "South" in Santa Monica

Anyone tried South, 3001 Wilshire, Santa Monica for the pork BBQ Ribs? Hogs are opening the season Sat., my Birthday, and hoping to get the best prize ever, southern style BBQ ribs and my beloved Arkansas Razorbacks...Let me Know what you think, thank you.

        There was a post on Yelp saying it closed as of June 25 of this year and something on Eater LA saying it was morphing into a "Farm to Table Sports Bar" http://la.eater.com/tags/south

            If you think about it, alcohol (beer, wine and the hard stuff) is "farm to table" - isn't it?

              I once heard her lecture about the difficulty of writing a gastronomic book on VVG (whose meals largely consisted of swallowing back the gastric acids, bile and vomit from the night before) until she thought to approach it from the booze-of-the-Earth perspective.
