My MIL got me a the Ninja Cooker. I've read the directions and recipes and I'm not getting how this is any better than a (much cheaper) CrockPot.

Does anyone have this and if so, what do you like to cook?

I had never heard of this before so I had to google it. I'd love tyo see some reviews. It appeares to also sear meat and even has ovenish functions. It looks cool for a small kitchen or for tasks that don't require a whole oven.

I just got one for Christmas as well. So far I have made a couple of the 30 minute meals which have turned out well. The benefit of this over the crockpot is that I can use it for other cooking too saving room in my kitchen. We have horrendously high electricity rates in my area and so using my oven is expensive and I try to avoid it. I am looking for a Yahoo or other forum type group to get more tips etc. on it
