We had simple paella with chicken and chorizo. A very nice arroz, (note not a Spanish-style paella) with huge meaty chunks of chorizo. They also have a made to order version for two that is much pricier.

We ordered rice and beans just to keep the little ones happy. The red beans were superb.

Tostones and maduros both exemplary. Perfect executions.

Chayote in eggplant sauce. Excellent, something my buddy from PR's grandmother would make. Subtle and full of flavor.

Mofongo, very nicely done, if anything a bit too much meat mashed in with the plantain, but substantial and full of flavor.

They have a wine and beer license so we stayed away from the "cocktails" and had some nice lagers on a hot day.

Food was good to excellent. Very nice decor and use of the outdoor space. Fabulous addition to the Boston scene.

I'd return to do some more damage to the menu in a heartbeat.

  1. Glad you had a good experience, still haven't made it over but would like to at some point.

Devra (http://b.globe.com/TuBz7m) and our own MC Slim (http://bit.ly/17gRQW1) both seemed to like it when they filed their reviews last fall.
