If you do go don't forget to tell the waitress you want it "well done" to the nice crusty sear on the outer edges of the corned beef and potatoes.

When I went exactly two years ago, it occurred roughly within the confines of the Labor Day Weekend.

So they are pretty much on target.

By the way, how much did it costed ?

I wonder if they are going to paste your review in the window again ????

$12.95 and it was never in the window (and didn't last long in any case - Will Owen is the clear champ when it comes to CH reviews being displayed at the restaurant).

not open for breakfast but not much more than the $12.95, you might want to try the CBH and E at the Grill on the Alley if you like the crusty sear--they do it and serve it in its own skillet...

Their website for the Beverly Hills location lists it at $19.75, plus tax. I can't wait for those guys to open as I'm at work Monday through Saturday, and they don't do lunch on Sundays.

Any knowledge of when they are going to be doling it out again ?

It's on the salty side (perhaps to complement the deliciously salty waitresses) and yet still pretty fucking outrageously scrumptious.

To those of us who live at least an hour away, this is a lingering hell. I can understand why they'd be reluctant to post a schedule, and then draw a mob that would elbow out their regular and loyal patrons, but surely there's some way - maybe they could charge extra for VIP access? But on the other hand, that is SO not Pann's style …

it appears we now have two "call first" chowspots.
              1) is sergio cooking?
              2) corned beef hash today?

              any others?

Thanks for this. Got down there at 1:00 and it was well worth the trip.

Their CBH is so infrequent I felt like it was a PSA for the Chowhound community. I really don't look at or use CH on my phone, but for their CBH I made an exception. Thanks for letting me know that the info was put to good use...
