hey danny how about westchester? (SHAKE SHACK)

why is it that westchester is surrounded by shake shacks in all directions, but none here. I have trouble getting around these days, but have been on a burger kick and made it up to Westport--packed, but very enjoyable, double, well done fries and abita root beer. How come the best we get is (admittedly enjoyed 5 guys or smashies), but still a distant second

Danny Meyer is the restauranteur behind shake shack, union square cafe, gramercy tavern and more.

    2. And his CEO lives in Westchester too!

went to stamford today, tried plan b, burgers looked awesome, but too much meat, had lobster roll and fried pickles and peppers. another place we could use in westchester

      2. You could come up to Saratoga Race Track, at least until Labor Day, and get your Shake Shack fix, and also see world class thoroughbred racing.

And you might even see Danny Meyer himself!

I agree with trakman. Been up to Saratoga Springs every weekend this month (only 2 1/2 hours from Westchester) and as soon as I walk in to the track, I head straight to Shake Shack for a burger and fries. The wait at the track is under 5 minutes and the burger is unbelievable. Plus Saratoga Springs is one of the great places to visit during track season or any time of the year.

having the track that close to shake shack might be an incentive for the horses to run faster!

          2. Burgers, Shakes & Fries in CT is also very good. They're located in Darien and Greenwich. http://www.burgersshakesnfries.com/
