Glam doll Donuts

I have been very excited to try this concept. I love donuts and I am a foodie so I got the family up on a Sat. morning to trek down to Glam Doll. Two adults and two kids. We get to the front of the modest line only to confronted by a semirude order taker. We ordered 4 dounuts and a choloclate milk. We went to sit down in the mostly empty seating area and could not find one clean table. Meanwhile 5 or 6 of the servers were congregating at the front adjusting their fake hair.

The donuts arrive and they are all dry on the inside. No way they were fresh. What a let down. Nobody wanted seconds. We could not wait to get out of there.

  1. So sad! I've been to Glam Doll several times and always had a delicious donut, with a comfortable visit. I usually go late in the day, though that shouldn't make a difference.
Also of note, I haven't been in a couple of months.

    1. I went once. Not going again.

      1. I grabbed a dozen from there and wasn't particularly impressed with any of them. None were fresh or warm, and for all the funky flavors, the donuts were fundamentally lousy.

        1. For all the hype this place gets, I don't get it so you're not alone in the disappointment. I've gone in the late mornings and I just can't be glamoured into thinking these are fresh "best" donuts. They're basic donuts are rather tasteless and dry. I've never had such worst tasting chocolate frosting. Super gritty. Great themed place like Psycho Suzi's, but they have to have better product. All that style just doesn't make the donuts taste better.

          1. agreed with most of the above, very mediocre donuts. they seem to be focused on making the place a "scene" and not paying much attention to the quality of the product.
