Rotgut tequila

versicle Aug 21, 2013 01:27 PM

Someone left a nearly full bottle of Montezuma tequila at my house. Should I pour it down the drain or can I do anything with it? Maybe infuse it with chiles?

Pour it in your gas tank and give your car a little extra octane. The last time I was left with a mixto tequila, I gave it to my college-aged niece who gladly took it off my hands.

Use it for girlie frozen drinks, marinades and such. Never heard of the brand, how bad is it?

Based on the name alone I might be inclined to ditch it :-)

Ha! Well there's another use soon to be seen on Dr Oz, "The Agave Cleanse"

Add it to kale juice and it will be all the rage!

Don't forget some acai berry extract.

And a splash of St Germain so it's a proper hipster cocktail.

I'm a little afraid it may harm the septic system if I dump it down the sink.... I'm not a tequila drinker so I can't qualify exactly how bad it is, but it smells sort of sweet and retails for $10 - 12 at the local liquor store.

geez, just make some blender margaritas and take your aspirin before bed. How bad can it be? It's not like somebody gave you some moonshine they made in their garage or something.

I've had some really, really, excellent moonshine made in back sheds and garages that blows away many commercial products. Especially rum. I also once had Poland Springs gin (made by White Rock Distilleries.) I couldn't get ANYONE to take the 1.75 L. off my hands once they tasted it.

Well, if it was me holdin' that bottle, I'd wait for a sunny afternoon.

Go for a swim in the ocean and then retire out back.

Set the iTunes to random and turn up the volume.

Twist off the cap and take a long deep pull.

I'd repeat this last exercise frequently over the course of a coupla hours.

Meanwhile, maybe take a few minutes to smoke a joint or grill a steak or both.

Cheap booze can still a fine day make!
