The title says it all. We're heading to Sheffield VT with a 2 and 4 year-old. Claire's is on our radar; new ideas for St. Johnsbury would be great.

In St J I would look at Balliwick's on the higher end but I'm not sure about kids being a good fit there.....

Kham's Thai is decent and the owners kids are always there and the food is surprisingly good; try the Thai noodle soup...

ST. J isn't exactly a dining hot spot however....

Clair's is a good call but right next store is Positive Pie and I would go there instead if it were my choice.....

In Lyndonville there are some additional options as well. But if you are in Sheffield, Harwick isn't a bad drive for Positive or Claire's; also in Glover you could hit Parker Pie as well, both pizza joints are known for good beer selections and Positive has a few more non-pizza menu options and good mixed drinks as well

Dylans Cafe is great for lunch. Great sandwiches, salads and soups. Some large plates as well. They are open for dinner I think Thurs-Sat. Same menu, but lots of specials. Surprisingly good.
