Lobster glut

Where can you buy lobster in Toronto at a price that reflects the current glut? Either at a restaurant, retail or wholesale to the public, but not McDonald's.

Bought three live 1 1/2 pounders recently at First Choice Market on Kennedy for 4.99 / lb. They had larger ones for $7.99 / lb. Unfortunately I got what I paid for, meat almost completely wasted away, and they were SUPER salty (what is up with that ?).

Don't make price your primary factor, get fresh, live, and good quality.

The Metro (Dominion) flyer this week has 2 cooked lobsters (10-14 ounces each), a Dole iceberg salad, and bread for $15

Check flyers. Although right now is molting season, so I'd wait until mid September or so.
