Quick West Seattle Cocktail rec?

Looking for a quick recommendation for cocktails in West Seattle. Doesn't need to be fancy but would like good drinks and appetizers and would love it to be on California rather than Alki.

      Feedback is worse than Shadowland.

Sushiqueen, have you tried Matador, Mission, or Talarico's?

What don't you like about the Feedback?

That's too bad. I live in the area and have been going to Feedback since it opened. We only go for drinks, never food, and only sit at the bar. Maybe that's why we're treated well? I love the servers though.

Shadowland is really hit and miss for me. I would get good service when being waited on by people I already know. But had a couple bad experiences here. I rarely go anymore.

West5 is our goto if we're in the junction and want cocktails. Servers here are great and I love the food when I have it.

Otherwise, for food AND cocktails our main locale is Jak's because we're regulars there, they have amazing food, and the drinks are great.

Off of California our other fave is Locol. Just beer and wines, but the nibbles are really tasty.

I don't care for Ma Ono because they use their bar area for reservations. We don't do reservations so we're always SOL. And Blackboard was a walk-in and walk-out visit. Haven't been back.

        1. We ended up going to Shadow Land. It was just fine - not great - but was exactly what we were needing. I'd been to West 5 before and we had done MaOno a few nights earlier. Will try Feedback and Blackboard next time. Thank you!

Helps to say where you have already been....

You're right - but it had been 2 or 3 years since I'd been to West 5 and I didn't remember that I'd been there until I went to their website. Since Ma'Ono is more a restaurant than a bar (IMO), I didn't think I needed to mention that I'd been there.
