DC Restaurant Week - Reservations Required?

jessuf Aug 17, 2013 06:44 PM

Some of the restaurants I'm interested in checking out next week during Restaurant Week are already booked up (not surprised). Just to verify - can I walk in to restaurants without a reservation and request the Restaurant Week menu?

    Also, consider going for lunch.

You could certainly try. But some of them might be totally booked. Your best bet would be to dine early or late and possibly sit at the bar (if that is an option). Also you might want to call a few hours before you plan to dine and see if they have had any cancellations.

Yep. Whether a table will be available is a separate issue, but I've been to maybe 10 restaurants during RW and have gotten the RW week both with reservations and without.
