One night dinner and other recommendations

  • 2

I'm going to Portland with a group of people (seven total) next weekend for only two days.
We don't have much time and we're trying to decide where to go for a delicious dinner that's good for a big group and won't be extremely expensive (portions/quality worthy of the price).
We were thinking of trying either Tasty n Sons or Toro Bravo for dinner. Which would be better?
And if there's any other recommendations for dinner or even lunch/food trucks/sweets that we can consider for our second day, feel free to add!
We are staying in Downtown so nowhere too far, please.

  1. Are you looking for dinner only for one night (Saturday)?

Expensive/Inexpensive is subjective. An idea of price per person for food only to indicate what your approximate budget might be?

If you are staying downtown and the two restaurants you mentioned are within your budget, you might think about Tasty & Alder, which you probably could walk to.

Yes, just for one night but it'll be on Sunday. We're there Sunday & Monday.

Probably around $35 something per person highest.

I was also considering Tasty n Alder but I heard people say that Tasty n Sons is the better of the two.
