you should know about :

elruisenor.com a D.F. company with locations in Los Angeles and NOW, tada...you don't have to go to TJ to get mole or chiles or spices or dulces or who knows what else. They have a huge inventory or everything you need to make great Mexican food and the staff is knowledgeable and helpful. Speak with Ernesto or Jesus.

They are located in Chula Vista (still SD, right?) on the NW corner of Main and Industrial Sts. Phone: 619/424-5011.

Too much hyperbole. I think you can talk about the border crossing at the 94, though.

Nice selection of dried chiles, including ones that we don't see too often up here.

Good find. I don't need anything at the moment, but I will have to come down and check it out.

              Good prices too.
Saw the place after eating at the Mariscos y Tacos el Kiki truck across the street and went to check it out.
Oh, take some Filipino friends to Tacos el Kiki and watch them crack up at the name.....
