Does anyone know about Cheeburger Cheeburger? They are based out of Florida...

  1. According to their website, they are opening two places in the DFW area this summer.

I vaguely remember something about their being sued by (or maybe suing) The Billy Goat in Chicago for using the phrase that Saturday Night Live used.

I live within walking distance of Inwood Village and I have yet to see any signs or anything. Funny that they are putting the two stores into Inwood and Southlake.

I will post an update if I see any development.

Hopefully, by now you are all aware that Cheeburger Cheeburger has not only become incredibly successful in Southlake, but will be opening its second store in the area at Lovers Lane and Inwood on Oct 18th. Check it out. More stores will be opening in the coming months around the DFW area!

Has anyone been to the Inwood Village location (Dallas) yet?

Pretty sure that location closed a while back. . .

            1. re: stephtx

It closed a long time ago.

Nothing like resurrecting a 4 year old thread.

I didn't realize this was such an old post. Having said that, do you mean to tell me that in 4 years they came and went in the Dallas area? Not a good sign.

I don't think they lasted 2 years. I never got there but the general opinion was the burgers were average.

sorry about's groundhog day sometimes over here.

          2. We have a new one in Tempe Arizona. Over priced over hyped!

            1. I have been to one in Lake Charles, LA. and there will be one built in the new Vintage Park area in Houston (FM 249 & Louetta). I thought it was great. The burger was delicious, and the shakes are good, too. Good for families.

              1. I had been to both their locations in DFW a few times. They reasonably good but not outstanding. I don't know why they just did not make it in DFW, more than likely just the amount of competition for the dollar. I have seen a couple around my current wanderings of South Florida.
