kappō at má pêche ?

  1. Yes, I've been to kappo at Ma Peche four times (most recently as last weekend). No surprise to anyone on this board that I adore it. There will be a maximum of 8 guests seated at the counter. There are 10 courses that will leave you more full than the 10 courses at Momofuku Ko (my other favorite Momofuku restaurant). Chef Paul Carmichael is present throughout the dinner (2 1/2 hours minimum) with his sous chef, Eunie, serving all of the courses. Cost is $95 per person, and reservations can be made by calling the restaurant or through their on-line reservation system. The dishes are highly creative and highly delicious! Hope you give it a try.

      1. Fabulous experience all around. The food was amazing. You need to like raw fish and seafood and be open to anything - although they are very good about working around allergies. The challah and duck fat is too die for and then he gives you a soft egg dish to dip it into. Our dessert was white chocolate and popcorn. The white chocolate was frothed and the whole dish was light and airy. A great way to end the meal. Plus, it is fun. Chef Paul is in constant attendance and is full of information. Can't recommend it enough. And, a relative bargain.
