In search of the best wings

The other day I had the opportunity to finally have chicken wings at a place regarded as having the best in NY- Croxley Ales. I have to agree- definitely the best wings after one drinks 10 glasses of their beer! The wings were dry, tasteless and without flavor. A true disappointment.

Now I am on a quest to find the best wings in the NY area. I don't have a sweet tooth so not looking for honey glaze/teriyaki/etc. Just looking for juicy wings that are hot and flavorful. Any suggestions?

I've heard good things about the ones at Distilled but may be too sticky for you.

Do you like them very spicy?

If you are interested in all of NYC, post on the Outer Boroughs board.

Croxley's can be great, but they're not always. same goes for Mission Chinese. usually love them, but have had dry batches, too.

worth trying the wings at Mighty Quinns. they don't beat out RUB's, but they're very good.
